A popular business selling babywear that already has a thriving base at Trentham Gardens is opening a pop-up store at another major shopping hub.
From The Stork Bespoke Baby opened two years ago at the destination shopping village, offering a same-day personalisation services for clothes. It was launched by parents Andrew and Steph Lane, both 34, from Alsager, following the birth of their daughter, Aubrey, who is now two.
Now, they will be taking on a unit at Affinity Staffordshire in Talke as part of it pop-up shop scheme, hoping to expand their business. The family opened their first store after only being able to find the kind of clothes they wanted for Aubrey, alongside personalised items, online.
Andrew said: "We opened it because the things we wanted to buy for Aubrey, we had to buy online. We do a personalisation service - you can usually only get that type of thing online.
"My wife has always had her own business. I used to work doing computer drawings for staircases." From The Stork Bespoke Baby sells designer ware by Blade and Rose, which is normally only available online, as well as Joules, Kaloo, BayPods Shoes, Dandelion Knitwear, Little Dutch and more.
They sell a range of teddies, toys, accessories such as sunshades for cars, pregnancy pillows, and also gift wear. Alongside their shop, they also have an online range, which can be viewed here.
Andrew continued: "We will be at Affinity for four weeks from May 15 as a pop-up shop with the hope that we can stay as a permanent location if it's popular. It if it works out it will be great for us.
"Once we saw that they were trying a pop-up shop we contacted them to ask if we could go for it. We thought it would be a great way to see if there's demand.
"It's been going really well at Trentham. We are coming up on two years and it's grown massively.
"We employ six members of staff, and we're looking to expand."
